I am Ruben Topia — illustrator of detailed worlds that reflect the human consciousness. My work is psychedelic, symbolic and organic: built from tiny lines, textures and fragments of dream. I create to remind people of the light that lives within and around us.
I started drawing as a kid. My head was full of ideas and chaos. These drawings were always filled with symbols and details from bottom to top.
I see art as a global form of communication. There are universal symbols that our ancestors and future humanity will understand. I try to build on these symbols and create out of curiosity.

What is INNER KINGDOM? :
Series of geometrical ink drawings. Influenced by ancient cultures, psychedelic ceremonies, psychology, imagination and symbolism. Inner Kingdom is a visual journey of various landscapes. In which I focus on the higher and lower aspects of life often balancing each other out. The eternal battle between light and dark.
